In God’s Hands: A Prayer of Security
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.” Isaiah 41:10, NIV
When we begin to suffer from distorted vision, believing the world instead of trusting Your Word, remind us who You are, Lord.
“This is what the LORD says−your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself.” (Isaiah 44:24, NIV)
During those moments when we feel You are far from us, empower us with the truth of Your constant presence.
In the mundane moments and in the midst of trials, help us hear Your promises clearly and receive each one completely.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” (Isaiah 43:1-3a)
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You, Lord!
In Jesus’ name, Amen
