Cindy Jacks lives in El Dorado Hills, California with her husband and best friend, Todd, and their delightful children, Nicholas and Kaitlyn.

She enjoys movies, yoga and swimming. She spent much of her childhood in New Hampshire secluded in her bedroom, buried in fantasy and suspense stories.

Cindy is currently writing her first suspense novel amidst the commotion of raising little ones. Convinced God does his most powerful work in the lives of the brokenhearted, her writing reflects a belief that victory comes in the darkest places.

Prior to the birth of her first child, Cindy worked in human resources for seven years in Northern California. Previously, she was an equity analyst in New York, publishing research reports for the investment community.

Cindy graduated with a BA in Humanities from Houghton College, a Christian liberal arts college in upstate New York.

She is blessed to be part of the El Dorado Hills Inspire critique group. Their guidance and encouragement has solidified her commitment to finishing her novel. She is also a member of American Christian Fiction Writers.
