Darleen Miller Gossett is a native Californian, married to her teenage sweetheart, mother of one and grandmother of six. For more than twenty years, she was an educator in local schools.

Although her love for poetry and writing began at an early age, her publishing journey was set in motion when Highlights for Children printed her first non-fiction article in December 2007. Published also are devotionals, personal experience stories and poetry.

Blessed with a Christian family heritage, Darleen’s quest to preserve and pass on her legacy is now her ongoing writing assignment. She finds closeness with her Creator in the cathedral of His great outdoors. Here she is inspired to ponder—to write—to live.
