Linda Bello-Ruiz

Award-winning Christian author, Linda Bello-Ruiz obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior at the University of San Francisco, and later her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University. She worked as a bilingual vocational rehabilitation counselor for twenty-six years and as an Expert Witness in disability issues for seven of those years. The mother of four awesome children, she is now retired and recently finished writing her memoir, From Tears to Triumph, My Journey to The House of Hope. 
God called her at a young age to travel to Costa Rica, Central America. There, she worked with a Catholic priest and an American missionary to open Costa Rica’s first Christian halfway house for young street girls and underage prostitutes. She named her ministry, The House of Hope. 
Ms. Bello-Ruiz is a member of Destiny Christian Church in Rocklin. She is a member of NCPA (Northern California Publishers and Authors) and is president of the Lincoln Hills Authors Club (ARC). The Inspire Writers critique group at Harvest Church in Roseville assisted her in fine-tuning her manuscript for publication and her memoir was published in August, 2013. "From Tears to Triumph" won the gold medal in the 2013 Illuminations Book Awards, in the Biography/Memoir division.
