A mom of one adorable teenager and wife of over 30 years to a hard working manly man, I'm a native Californian who loves to write uplifting fiction. Writing is a wonderful way to share God's love with the masses. Through my walk with Creator God, the passion I have had all my life for the Native People has been nurtured. My great grandmother was Native, but I know very little about her tribal affiliation, her original family (I suspect she may have been adopted), or if she had any brothers or sisters. I hope to one day find out, but in the meantime God has allowed me to cross paths with many wonderful First Nations People who have mentored me in my writing, encouraged me in walking the Jesus Road, and taught me many things about what it means to be an American Indian. My current work in progress is set on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and I had the amazing privilege of visiting this wonderful place last summer while spending an entire week with my Lakota sister who lives in another part of beautiful Montana. If not for God giving me boldness to step out with my writing, I wouldn't have had the blessing of meeting so many wonderful people. He has shown me so many blessings, the majesty of His creation, and gems among the humblest of people.
