Roanne spent the majority of her elementary and teen years in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. By the time she was eleven years old, she knew she wanted to be a writer. Looking back, she realized God gave her the desire to write as an outlet to work through the pains and challenges she faced growing up the oldest sibling in a single-parent home.

Her current project, No Eye Has Seen, a historical fiction novel based in early 1900s Penn Valley, has become a reflection of her own journey of faith spanning her early adult years to the present. 

A busy, working mother of five, Roanne continues to face challenges to achieve her writing goals. However, she firmly believes writing is her ultimate calling and strives toward that end whenever she has a free moment.
