Sharon Ludden is creator, designer and person behind the passion of Anthem Cards – a new and innovative devotional gift card line that made its debut in Northern California in January 2002.

Anthem Cards is an answer to Sharon’s prayer. Many years ago, a friend shared her career passion with Sharon. The concept of having a passion was so foreign that Sharon just couldn’t relate…but she couldn’t let go of the idea either.

After 2 years of prayer, God answered. The most beautiful piece of junk mail made its way to Sharon’s heart and quickly became the inspiration piece for Anthem Cards. Armed with a new concept and the desire to succeed Sharon started doing some research to make her vision a reality.

She took a desktop publishing course and a couple digital imaging workshops at Sierra College, along with a few Community Education small business classes. With this, seemingly, meager amount of knowledge and a huge amount of desire Sharon set out to create the ‘look’ of Anthem Cards.

What sets Anthem Cards apart is its unique design concept. They are much more than cards; they are gifts – lovely keepsakes. Each card is centered on a God honoring poem. Each card is teeming with Bible Promises that support each line of the poem. And each card proclaims an anthem of how God can give peace, courage, joy or whatever the reader needs.

Sharon’s main desire for Anthem Cards is that it helps connect or reconnect searching people with Jesus Christ. She believes one’s greatest struggles in life come from being out of touch with God.

Sharon and her husband, Tim, recently celebrated 43 years of marriage; she has published several church, business and club newsletters; and she has been the treasurer of Sacramento Christian Writers’ for 10 years and a participating member for 12 years. Currently, Sharon is writing personal stories about how God has impacted and transformed her life.
